What Are You Giving the World This Christmas?

Christmas decorationsIt’s Christmastime!  My favorite holiday of the year.  It’s a time for giving and forgiving.  A time for loving and singing, and laughing, and praying, and remembering and being grateful.  So, my question for you is; “What are you giving the world this Christmas?”  By the way, do you realize you are giving to all of us…..all the time?

Albert Einstein said, “Concerning matter, we have been all wrong.  What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses.  There is no matter.”  So, if there is no matter and everything is energy including me and you, how does our energy interact with the universe?  Where does my energy end and yours begin?  What affect do my thoughts have on those around me?  Can I fool the universe?  Do my negative thoughts affect others?  Do my loving, kind and merciful thoughts add anything to life?

Quantum physics has shown that when someone observes any thing it changes.  Physics cannot deal with a conscious observer and does not know how to deal with it.  So when experiments in quantum physics are conducted, the observer must be taken out of the equasion because a conscious observer causes a colapse of the wave function.  If a conscious observer causes a chaotic effect that destroys information, just imagine how powerful your thoughts are.

We have known about the power of conscious thought to heal our bodies.  Doctors have been amazed about the placebo effect, but do not know how to replicate it.  If one of us has this power to heal then all have that same power.  Our universe is alive.  There are no empty spaces.  We are just now beginning to realize the awesome power within our reach.  Every human being is equally powerful in their ability to shape our planet.

Whether you realize it or not, your thoughts are powerful.  Your thoughts radiate.  It is not possible to fool the universe.  You cannot say one thing and think another in an effort to fool the universe because your energy is radiating the truth of YOU.   When thoughts are negative, they add to the negativity of our planet.  The reverse is also true, when you feel heart-felt love and compassion, the universe is benefitted immediately.

So, my question is, “What are you giving the world this Christmas.”  It’s easy to listen to the news and become discouraged.  But keep your focus on what you want.  As you resonate your hopes and desires for a better world, our world is benefitted.  As you reach out in kindness and generosity to those less fortunate, our world is benefitted.  As you express gratitude our world is benefitted.  Your thoughts are powerful and you are sharing them with the universe……so, that’s what you’re giving the world this Christmas.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’; “My Christmas wish for you is that you find peace in your heart.  May that peace radiate.  When enough of us radiate peace, it will come to all.  Merry Christmas!”

What’s Up With Your Vibes?

The Sun sings OM

Everything is energy!  You are a bundle of electric energy and so am I.  Energy vibrates.  The energy in a rock vibrates at a different rate than living things like grass.  But the fact is everything is vibrating energy.  We are living at a time when amazing information is coming to the forfront.  Much of this information is ancient and has been hidden from our understanding for centuries.   We are just beginning to understand our energetic patterns and the effect vibrations and their sound sounds have on us.

Years ago, I read about Dr. Royal Rife.  Doctor Rife discovered that desease organisms or pathogens naturally vibrated at particular frequencies.  He studied these organisms and determined the vibrational signature of them.  He believed if he could replicate this vibration and turn up the magnitude he could shatter the cell membranes of any pathogens and cure the desease.  This is similar to an opera singer shattering a crystal glass by singing the correct high note.  In 1933, Dr Rife invented and patented his Universal Microscope.  His microscope had 5,862 parts that used crystal lens, prisms and polarized light to create magnification of 25,000 times.  This microscope is unlike electron microscopes that kill viruses when they broadcast electrons at them.  Since Rife’s Universal Microscope did not harm the viruses, he was the first human to ever see a live virus.

Dr Rife used this technique to destroy the cell membranes of tuberculosis and typhoid cells in his laboratory.  In 1934 a medical study was conducted at the University of Southern California in which sixteen termanilly ill cancer patients were treated with his machine called a “frequency generator.”  This “frequency generator” beamed a radio sound wave of a particular frequency at each patient for three minutes daily.  After three months fourteen of the patients had completely recovered.  The other two patients continued treatment for three additional months, after which they also were completely healed.  These sixteen patients were given up for dead by medical experts.  Dr. Rife’s treatment had cured all sixteen patients.

Surprisingly, the medical community was not supportive of Dr. Rife.  The AMA under the direction of Dr. Morris Fishbein led a campaign to ban the use of Dr. Rife’s “frequency generator.”  Dr. Rife was devastated by the continual attacks on his research.  Arsonists burned his laboratory.   His papers and films were stolen  and his microscope was vandalized and parts were stolen.  Dr Rife’s Universal Microscope is on display at the Smithsonian Musium in Washington DC.

The renowned scientist Nikola Telsa said; “If you wish to understand the Universe, think of energy, frequency and vibration.”  Today science is discovering the vibrational signatures of many new and ancient modalities including mantras, the sun, water, minerals, our hearts, our brains, our music and much more.  We are affected by energetic vibrations around us.  But nothing affects us as profoundly as the vibrations emited from our sun.

Our heart is an electrical organ.  Magnotrometrs can detect a 360 degree circle of magnetic energy surrounding our bodies eminating from our heart.  This circle goes out three to four feet.  The Menniger Clinic in Houston, Texas, has measured it from ten to twelve feet.  The electrical voltage of most adult humans is less than one volt and fluctuates between 30 to 100  millivolts.  Children range from 5 to 31 millivolts.  It is interesting to know that persons with medical conditions such as MS  measure from 5 to 9 millivolts while healers and telepaths range  up to 250 Mllivolts.

I read of a Russian Scientist who was measuring the voltage of accupuncture points when he saw a spike in the voltage.  He noted the exact time of the spike and later discovered the spike correlated with a solar flare.  It takes 8.3 minutes for a solar flare to be seen.  The spike was similtaneous with the flare.

Our bodies are approximately 90% water.  So it can be said we are liquid super crystal antennaes.  We are actually breathing electrons from the sun and transforming them into oxygen.  The beaming central frequency of the sun is 528 hertz.  Interestingly scientists are now proving that our bodies actually heal DNA when exposed to 528 hertz.  A blade of green grass vibrates at 528 hertz.  We’ve learned if we raise our voltage we can heal much more quickly.

The sound of vibrations emited by the sun cannot be heard by the human ear.  But NASA scientists have assigned tones to the vibrations and the song the sun seems to be singing is om.   The ancients knew we could raise our vibration through om meditations.

The universe communicates through intersteller sound and vibration.   Max Plank, the father of quantum physics said; “All mater originates and exists only by virtue of a force.  We must assume behind this force is the existance of a couscious mind.  This mind is the matrix of all mater.”  I love it when science and spiritality meld.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin; “We are surrounded by a universe that supports us, loves us and is equally available to all.”

Never Do Anything You Have To Do

choicesOften as I do something for another, the comment is made; “You don’t have to do that.”  My reply is always; “I don’t do anything because I have to do it.  I do what I choose to do.”   Life gets better when we own our choices and accept responsibility for them.  None of us “have” to do anything.  In fact, there is only one thing we “have” to do and that is take up space.  Our bodies have to take up space and that’s all there is to that!  Everything else is a choice.

How can that be true, you say?  “I have to change the baby’s diaper…..I have to pay my taxes….I have to go to work,”……….and on and on it goes.   But the truth is, “No,  you do not!”  Everything is a choice, but there are consequences.  Often we choose to do  something rather than accept the consequences of not doing it.   But recognize you are making a choice.   You choose to change a baby’s diaper because if you do not, the baby will get a rash and the smell is unpleasant.  You choose to pay your taxes because you do not want to go to prison.  You choose to go to work because you do not want to be broke and homeless.  And there are times when you would rather accept the consequences for not doing a thing.  But it is our choice, so we accept the consequences.

Many people go through life feeling like a victim.   They never recognize the decisions they’ve been making.  When you say I “have to” it implies you are a victim and have no choice.  But that is not the truth.  You do have a choice.  When you accept responsibility for your choices,  it is liberating.   You cannot be a victim if you are choosing your course of action.

For now Earlynn’s just sayin’; “Next time you are tempted to say; ‘I have to’,  change it to;  ‘I want to’‘I choose to’ , or I am going to’.  It feels so good to recognize that it is indeed your choice.”

Never Overlook The Master Key

I once heard a story of a woman who was attending a motivational training seminar.  After one of the sessions, she had a conversation with the trainer.  She told him that she was very unhappy with her job.  “How can I be positive,” she asked, “when I work in such a horrible atmosphere?”  She went on to say her co-workers disliked her, she was greatly underpaid for her work skills, was unappreciated and could not think of  a single thing she liked about her job.  The trainer listened and responded, “Well, based on what you’re telling me, if I were your boss, I’d fire you.   Anyone with an attitude like yours is a cancer in any organization.”  He then proceeded to ask several very specific questions, “Do you have paid vacation time, 401K, Flex spending, health insurance, clean office space, well maintained equipment, climate contolled office?”  To each question she responded,”Yes.”  He then asked how she related to the other employees.  She responded that she kept to herself as much as possible and rarely talked to them because they were snobish.

The trainer pointed out he believed she had a very good job, but because of ingratitude she was not able to see clearly and those around her were actually reacting to HER negativity.  He challenged her to try an experiment.  Over the next two weeks she was to greet her fellow employees with a smile and engage them in friendly conversation.  He challenged her to say, “Thank you” for everything anyone did for her even the smallest thing like standing aside for her in the hallway.   He asked her to make a list of the positive characteristics of her job.  Then before work every morning she was to affirm,
“I appreciate that I work in a climate controlled office, I appreciate I have paid vacation, I appreciate I have health insurance,”  and so one through the entire list.  He said he would check back with her in two weeks.

Two weeks later he spoke with her, and to his delight it was as if she were a different person.  To her surprise, the other employees were actually very friendly.  Every morning she reminded herself of the things she really appreciated about her job.  She realized she had fallen into a state of taking things for granted.  Showing gratitude had literally changed her work experience.  She had a new outlook, felt confident about her future and was happier than she had been in a long time.

My question for you is, “What are you taking for granted?”   Look around.  Are you sitting in a comfortable chair in a climate controlled room?  Is there food in your cupboard?  Do you sleep in a comfotable bed with nice warm blankets and soft sheets?  Can you listen to the music you love or watch your favorite show?  When was the last time you expressed appreciation for these things or do you just assume they will always be there?  Take time every day to recognize the things that make your life so enjoyable.

Make a habit of expressing gratitude to those around you.  When someone cooks a meal for you, cleans your clothes, provides you with food and shelter, or does anything to make your life more enjoyable, recognize it and let them know you appreciate them.  One of the most enjoyable blessings to come from showing appreciation is others will go out of their way to help.  We all crave appreciation.  It is a prized and rare commodity that pays big dividends.  The world loves appreciative people, so be generous in your appreciation.  Develop an attitude of gartitude and see how your life will change.  Gratitude is the MASTER KEY.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin; “As gratitude is expressed it opens doors to new abilities and abundance.  Gratitude and love go hand in hand.”Master Key

Give Away What You Want

hands-giving-heart-16512468One of the great spiritual laws is the law of giving.  This law also relates to receiving because as you give you also receive.  Giving and receiving are inseperable.  This means that whatever you want, you must give away.  Think about what you want.   Then make a promise to yourself to give that away.    In reality receiving and giving are are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe.  If you stop the flow of either you interfere with nature’s intellegence.

One of the best exercises you can do to understand how in tune you are with the law of giving is to make a list of your grievances:   “People don’t care about me.”  “People are rude to me.”  “I don’t get enough love.”  “People don’t listen to me.”

In every case, the grievance points to a stopping of the flow of giving and receiving.  If you feel people don’t care about you, stop the absorption with your own happiness and focus on the needs of others.  If you feel people are rude to you, be cordial to others.   If you feel you don’t get enough love, give love to others.  If you feel people don’t listen to you, listen intently to others.

By being loving toward others we find we are surrounded by love and lovingness.  When we  unreservedly support others, life supports us in return.  The more you give, the more will return.  Whatever you want, first help another to get it.

If through the act of giving, you feel you have lost something, then the gift was not truly given and will not increase.  If you give grudgingly, there is no energy flowing in the giving.  Your intention behind giving is critical.  Your intention should always be to create happiness for both the giver and receiver.  When giving is unconditional and from your heart, the return will always be proportional to the giving.  The act of giving is joyful….you must feel joy in the act of giving.

In his book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, Deepak Chopra writes; “One of the things I was taught as a child, and which I taught my children also, is never go to anyone’s house without bringing something – never visit anyone without bringing them a gift.  You may say, “How can I give to others when at the moment I don’t have enough for myself?”  You can bring a flower.  One flower.  You can bring a note or a card which says something about your feelings for the person you’re visiting.  You can bring a compliment.  You can bring a prayer.  Make a decision to give wherever you go, to whomever you see.  As long as you’re giving, you will be receiving.  The more you give, the more confidence you will gain in the miraculous effects of this law.  And as you receive more, your ability to give more will also increase.”

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin;  “The law of giving and receiving  is  a beautiful and simple spiritual practice.   Give joyfully so that your life is filled with joy.”

It’s What You KNOW That Makes The Diffrence

Can you think of anything more difficult for a young fifteen year old boy than being afflicted with a condition that makes your skin look like alligator hide?  This was the fate of a young British teenager being treated by Dr Moore at the Queen Victoria Hospital in Great Britton in 1952.  The boy looked like he had millions of warts covering his legs, arms and feet.  Dr. Moore was preparing the boy for another surgery.  The doctor had been unsuccessfully trying to graft skin from the boy’s unaffected chest to his hands.   He was not pleased with the results, but had no other options for treatment.  A young anesthsiologist, Dr Albert Mason, who admits he was ‘young and cocky’ had previously cured others of warts using hypnosis.  He turned to Dr. Moore and said; “Why don’t you treat him with hypnotism?”   Dr. Moore said sarcastically; “Why don’t you?” and walked out of the room.

The power of belief

The next day Dr. Mason hypnotized the boy and gave him the hypnotic suggestion that the warts would fall of his right arm and new soft skin would replace it.  When the boy returned a week later his right arm looked beautifully healthy.  In delight he took the boy to see Dr. Moore.  When Dr. Moore saw the results his eyes widdened with astonishment.  He then told Dr. Mason that the boy was not suffering from warts, but had an incurable rare congenital desease, Congenital Ichthyosis Erythroderma.   By using no more than the power of his mind the boy had conquered an incurable skin desease.  Dr Mason continued the hypnotic treatments until the condition was completely reversed.  The young boy who had been teased at school because of his red bumpy, alligator-like skin returned to his school classes with normal healthy skin and went on to lead a very normal life.

Dr. Mason published his case study in the British Medical Journal, a prestigious journal widely read world wide.  As word spread of the healing, Dr. Mason was flooded with patients hoping for the same result.  But the good doctor was never able to replicate total healing.  Dr. Mason said that he knew the young boy had the power to heal himself because he had witnessed the miraculous healing of his right arm,  so he continued hypnotic treatments until the healing was complete.  But doubts crept in as he treated his new paients.  He could not recapture the enthusiasm of the ‘young and cocky’  doctor who knew he could heal warts.  He tried to be upbeat and pretend the desease was curable.  But he knew he was treating an incurable geneic desease.   “I was acting,”  he said in an interview with Discovery Health Chanel.  “I knew it had no right to get well.”

The power of a strongly held belief is miraculous.  When the medical community begins to study and harness its use, medicine will take a huge leap forward.  Rather than using the current three modes of treatment….. burn, poison or cut out, wouldn’t it be great to heal without drugs, extremely costly hospitals and surgeries, or expensive insurance?

For now Earlynn’s just sayin; “Never underestimate the power of belief to bring the impossible into fruition.  This incredible power is wihin us all.  The challenge is to assert ownership of this power to keep ourselves healthy.”

Selfish Genes? I Think Not!

Many are convinced that the violence eroding our civilization is unavoidable because violence is encoded in our genes.  The popular belief that people are ruled by DNA and that selfishness, violence and aggression have been programmed into the human hard drive has been shown to be a myth by the emergence epidemiology.  The fact is our environment has everything to do with the expression of our genes.

Chimpanzees and baboons our close primate relatives, generally live in societies in which the strongest and most aggressive primates dominate and compete for food.   Bonding generally occurs among males who then gang up on females who are usually much smaller.  The society  is tightly controlled by the strongest and most aggressive males through bullying the weaker males and beating up on females.  These primates work hard foraging for food where vegetation is high in tannins and other toxins.  These toxins keep the vegetation from being totally eaten away.

In 1983, Robert Sapolski, a primatologist, was studying a troop of baboons in Kenya.  He found high levels of glucocorticolds known as fight-or-flight hormones in the subordinate males.  These hormones are released in response to competition and aggression.  He was five years into his study when an outbreak of tuberculosis killed half of the troop’s males.  Those who died were the most aggressive and dominant males.  These males were the most successful in competing for food.   With this turn of events, Sapolski dicided to leave that troop to find another troop with a balanced ratio of males and females to study.

Ten years later, Sapolski decided to ‘check in’ on the original troop and was surprised to find that the troop had changed dramatically.  They had developed a radically new culture.  All of the original surviving males were gone.  In the new culture the bigger male baboons no longer bullied the smaller ones.  If fights did occur, those involved were the same size.  Also male baboons were not likely to attack the females.  He also found the levels of glucocorticolds had significantly dropped in the subordinate males.  And they showed fewer signs of stress.

So, what happened?  What was the cause of this dramatic change to a more peaceful troop?  Sapolski theorizes that with all the old males gone, the senior members of the troop were all female.  These females then acculturated  the remaining younger males, chosing those who were less aggressive and who showed less stressed behavior.  It appears a change in environment led to the creation of a higher level of functionality.

bonobos

Another interesting study involved bonobos usually called pygmy chimpanzees.  These bonobos live in a make-love-not-war society.  While most chimps live in a male dominated society of bullying and female intimidation, these primates kiss and make up after fighting.  In fact, when faced with potential conflict they engage in sexual activity that releases tention and reinforces safety and friendship.  They kiss before conflict to prevent it from happiening.  Bonobos waste little time foraging for food or fighting for resources since there is an abundance of a high protein herb, haumania liebrechtsiana, also called bonobo power bars.

According to Bruce Lipton, PH. D., in his book, Spontaneous Evolution; “….when resources are abundant, fighting becomes less necessary.  And when fighting decreases, resources become more abundant.”  He further states; “If peaceful bonobos can live in abundance and balance, and a troop of otherwise violent baboons can find they enjoy peace more than war, what can we sentient humans, who have far more resources at  our disposal, accomplish?  Are we going to continually assume powerlessness and deny responsibility while blaming dire personal and world conditions on selfish genes?  Or are we willing to use our intelligence intelligently? ”

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’; “Remember, we have the ability to make earth a “heaven” or a “hell”.   It’s not in our genes.  It’s in our heart.”

Oh, The Wonderful Things a Cat’s Purr Can Do.

The Department of Animal Care and Control estimates there are hundreds of millions of cats in our world today.  Here in the U.S. there are around 80 million registered cats, making cats by far the most popular domesticated animal.  Its popularity, no doubt, has something to do with a cat’s indepenency, needing only food and shelter to live contently.  Cats go about their daily routines of hunting, napping and exploring giving the impression of autonomy.  They do not give the impression of needing our love and attention.  They are happy picking and choosing when and how and to whom they will show their affection.

Whether or not you are a cat owner it is likely you have from time to time enjoyed petting a purring cat.  We instinctively enjoy the feel and sound of a cat’s purr.  Studies have recently confirmed some remarkable health benefits derived through the vibration of a cut’s purr (measured 20 – 140 Hz), most notably the strengthening and healing of bones.

Cats don’t just purr when they are contented, they also purr when they are injured.  Many researchers believe the cat’s purring helps heal infections, reduce swelling and strengthens their bones.   Cats have a remarkably strong skeleton which allows them to fall from great heights without breaking bones.  The old myth that cats have nine lives comes from the fact that cats are able to survive falls that would kill other animals because of the strength of their skeleton.  Veterinarians have known for many years of the cat’s power to heal broken bones.  In fact, an old veterinary adage states; “If you put a cat and a bunch of broken bones in the same room, the bones will heal.”

It is interesting to note that David R Hawkins, M.D. Ph D. stated that a cat’s purr calibrates at 500 on the scale of consciousness.  500 is the level of unconditional love.

When a cat purrs nearby humans may be therapeutically benefited.  Recent studies show that cat owners have a 40% less rick of heart attack.  Below is a chart showing the healing power of cat purrs:

Thehealingpowerofcatpurrs_51367583d074d-640x1653 For now, Earlynn’s just sayin; “It’s nice to know that something as enjoyable as a cat’s purr has the ability to help us live longer,  happier lives.”

Our Sun, Is It Transforming Us?

new-solar-observatory-telescope-sunspot-close-up_25024_600x450

Above is a close up view of a recent sun spot.

We love sunshine!  We bask in it.  Our spirits are lifted by it.  When we see sunshine after a cloudy day, we feel excited – like an old friend has returned.  Our love of the sun is instinctual.  We are drawn to it.  Instinctively we know the sun is our great benefactor.  We know this and yet we are just beginning to understand the power of this miraculous and mysterious brightly burning globe on the human psyche.

Man has known for centuries about the power of the moon on earth and our human physiology.  Talk to any emergency room doctor and they will tell you that the hospital’s emergency room is always busy whenever there is a full moon.  Mental problems are exacerbated when the moon is full.  Ocean tides are affected by the cycles of the moon and Native Americans plant crops according to cycles of the moon.

What we are just beginning to realize is the affect the sun has on our human physiology.  We know depression becomes an issue when we go for prolonged periods of time without  sunlight.  We are now realizing the affect the sun has on our military and political posturing and well as humanitarian and creative advances.  The newest science points to the interconnectedness of all within our universe.  Everything affects everything else.

A.L. Tchijevsky, a Russian scientist, researched, The Factors of the Historical Process.  Tchijevsky put together the histories of 72 countries beginning at 500 BC and culminating in 1922.  He constructed an Index of Mass Human Excitability.  He found that 80% of the most significant human events occurred during a 5 year period surrounding the peak of solar activity.  Below is a portion of his chart showing the correlation between Sun Spot activity and human military and political activity from 1749 to 1922.   The solid dark line shows sun spot activity and the dotted line shows military and political activity:

Sun Spots and the Universal Military, Political Activity 1749 -

Science has found that there are magnetic portals that connect the sun’s magnetic field with the earth’s.  Solar flares have a direct affect on everything that exists on earth including human consciousness.  We know the sun directly affects magnetic storms, aurora borealis, cirrus, stratus and cumulus clouds, fluctuations in atmospheric electricity, thunderstorms, cyclones, the color of the sky, temperatures of the earth’s surface including oceans, polar icebergs, precipitation, atmospheric pressure, fluctuations of climate and earthquakes AND human consciousness.  Wow!

Because of the current solar patterns, it looks like we are in for quite an interesting next few years.  When humanity gets excited, there is the possibilty to use the excitement for distructive purposes, but there is also an incredible opportunity to direct the excitement toward increased innovation and enhanced imagination.

When looking at profound shifts in society and consciousness, the pineal gland plays an amazing role.  This little gland in the center of our brain is incredibly sensitive to magnetic fields.  It is considered the gateway into more subtile planes and dimensions and regulates circadian rhythm and melatonin production as well as DMT.  It is believed that solar flares influence on the pineal gland could help human consciousness gain a clearer understanding of higher dimensions.

In these times of increased solar activity that solar activity has the potential to activate compressed jealousy, anger and fear in our minds.  If we have not been working on healing these issues, they can become stronger.   We need to identify these issues and resolve them so we can direct our energy toward emotional balance and coherence.  We can use these rushes of energy to create a world of love, cooperation and a sustainable environment.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “Our universe is totally interconnected.  When we understand we are living through a period of increased solar storm activity, and we know there will be many changes brought about by these solar storms, we feel empowered to use our creativity and energy to make our world heaven on earth.”

It’s Better to be Kind Than Right

heartsI had a conversaton with my neighbor this afternoon.   She was working in her yard when an acquaintance came by on his bike.  He stopped to say “hello” and then asked her what it would take to get her and her family back to activity in the Church.  She commented that she had been very active at one time, but found her life to be happier, more peaceful, and guilt free away from the Church.  This man looked at her and said, “Don’t give me that crap!”

She told me her ten year old daughter felt insulted by the remark.  She on the other hand  understood the man’s intent believing he is on God’s errand trying to bring a stray back into the fold.  My question is;  “What should our response be when someone makes a personally denigrating remark no matter what the intent may be?”

Some thoughts come to mind.  First, it is always better to be kind than to be right.   Second, we should treat everyone with respect.  Third, we teach others how to treat us.  Fourth,  we do not show our love for others by allowing them to disrespect us.  So my suggestion to my sweet neighbor is this:  Let the acquaintance know she appreciates his good intent, but to call her response “crap” is offensive.  This needn’t be done angrily but firmly and matter-of-factly.

Those of you who have followed the Earlynn’s Just Sayin’ blog know that David Hawkins, PhD, M.D., is one of my favorite authors.  In his book, TRUTH Vs FALSEHOOD, he lists 39 qualities of spiritual truth, integrous teachers and teachings.  I have listed them below:

1.   Universality:  Truth is true at all times and places, independent of culture, personalities, or circumstances.

2.  Nonexclusionary:  Truth is all-inclusive, nonsecretive, and nonsectarian.

3.  Availability:  It is open to all, non-exclusive.  There are no secrets to be revealed, hidden, or sold, and no magical formulas or “mysteries.”

4.  Integrity of purpose:  There is nothing to gain or lose.

5.  Nonsectarian:  Truth is not the exposition of limitation.

6.  Independent of opinion:  Truth is nonlinear and not subject to the limitations of intellect or form.

7.  Devoid of positionality:   Truth is not “anti” anything.  Falsehood and ignorance are not its enemies but merely represent its absence.

.  No requirements or demands: There are no required memberships, dues, regulations, oaths, rules or conditions.

9.  Noncontrollling:  Spiritual purity has no interest in personal lives of aspirants, or in clothing, dress, style, sex lives, economics, family patterns, lifestyles, or dietary habits.

10.  Free of force or intimidation:  There is no brain washing, adulation of leaders, training rituals, indoctrinations, or intrusions into privite life.

11.  Nonbinding:  There are no regulations, laws, edicts, contracts, or pledges.

12.  Freedom:  Participants are free to come and go without persuasion, coercion, intimidation, or consequences.  There is no hierarchy; instead, there is a voluntary fulfillment of practical necessities and duties.

13.  Commonality:  Recognition is a consequence of what one has become rather than as a result of ascribed titles, adjectives, or trappings.

14.  Inspirational:  Truth eschews and avoids glamorization, seduction and theatrics.

15.  Nonmaterialistic:  Truth is devoid of neediness of worldly wealth, prestige, pomp or edifaces.

16.  Self-fulfilling:  Truth is already total and complete and has no need to proselytize or gain adherents, followers, or “sign up members.”

17.  Detached:  There is noninvolvement is world affairs.

18.  Benign:  Truth is identifiable along a pregressive gradient.  It has no “opposite” and therefore no “enemies” to castigate or oppose.

19.  Nonintentional:  Truth does not intervene or have an agenda to propose, inflict, or promulgate.

20.  Nondualistic: All transpires by virtue of intrinsic (karmic) propensity within the field by which potentiality manifests as actuality rather then “Cause and effect.”

21.  Tranquility and peace:  There are no issues or partialities.  There is no desire to change others or impose on society.  The effect of higher energies is innate and not dependent on propagation or effort.  God does not need help anymore that gravity needs the “help” of an apple’s falling off the tree.

22.  Equality:  This is expressed in reverence for all of life in all its expressions and merely avoids that which is deleterious rather than opposing it.

23.  Nontemporality:  Life is realized to be eternal and physically to be a temporality.  Life is not subject to death.

24.  Beyond proof:  That which is provable is linear, limited, and a product of intellectualization and mentation.   Reality needs no argument.  Reality is not an aquisition but instead is a purely spontaneous, subjective realization when the positionalities of the dualistic ego are surrendered.

25.  Mystical:  The orgainization of truth is spontaneous effulgence, radience, and the illumination, which is the Revelation that replaces the illusion of a separate individual self, the ego, and its mentation.

26.  Ineffable: Not capable of definition.  Radical subjectivity is experiential.  It is a condition that replaces the former.  With this event, context replaces content, devoid of temporality and beyond time.  Reality does not exist in time, or of it, or beyond it, or outside of it, and it has no relationship to that which is and artifice of mentation.  It is therefore beyond all nouns, adjectives, or verbs, transitive or intransitive.

27.  Simplistic:  One sees the intrinsic beauty and perfection of all that exists beyond appearence and form.

28.  Affirmative:  Truth is beyond opinion or provabitity.  Confirmation is purely by its subjective awareness; however, it is identifiable by consciousness calibration techniques.

29.  Nonoperative:  Truth does not “do” anything or “cause” anythingIt is everything.

30.  Invitational:  As contrasted with promotional or persuasive.

31.  Nonpredictive:  Because reality is nonlinear, it cannot be localized or encoded with restriction of form, such as secret messages, codes, numbers, and inscriptions, or hidden in runes, stones, the dimensions of the pyramid, the DNA, or the nostril hairs of the camel.  Truth has no secrets.  The reality of God is omnipresent and beyond codification or exclusivity.  Codes are indicative of man’s imagination and not the capriciousness of Divinity.

32.  Nonsentimental:  Emotionality is based on perception.  Compassion results from the discernment of truth.

33.  Nonauthoritarian:  There are no rules of dictates to be followed.

34.  Nonegoistic:  Teachers are respected and reject personal adulation or specialness.

35.  Educational:  Provides information in a variety or formats and ensures availability.

36.  Self-supporting:   Neither mercenary or materialistic.

37.  Freestanding:  Complete without dependence on external or historical authorities.

38.  Natural:  Devoid of induced, altered status of consciousness or manipulations of energies by artificial means, (i.e. nonreliance on form).

39.  Open honesty:  Teachers dismissed for moral turpitude.

David Hawkins writes the following in his book, The Eye of the I, about true teachers:  “Earmarks of true teachers are humility, simplicity, lovingness, compassion, and peacefulness.  There is no financial charge for conveying truth as there is no interest in money or power or gain.  It is irrelevant to a true teacher whether others become followers or join a spiritual group or organization.  All are totally free to leave a spiritual group.  There is the avoidance of the development of a personality cult.  There is no desire by a true teacher to control others and, therefore, a true teacher has no interest in coercion or persuasion.  Neither does a teacher attempt to appropriate knowledge or force it on others inasmuch as it was freely received.  Therefore, the true teacher is gracious in manner and spirit.  The student of a true teacher is the totality of all mankind.

Knowledge based on faith and true experience is calm, it invites rather than tries to convince.  It attracts by virtue of its intrinsic merit and the innate power of the truth itself.  Truth does not rely on force by persuasion or argument; it explains but does not try to convince.”

I know this information is a lot to absorb.  But whether or not you agree with Dr. Hawkins you have grown just from reading what he has written.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’  “I believe any spiritual teaching that advocates anything other than peace or love is in error.  This is a basic rule by which you can identify truth.”
