A Reason for Everything

purple wedding cakeThose of you who have been reading my posts for any time at all know that I believe everything happens for a reason.  And everything is ultimately a blessing.  I believe this with every fiber of my being.  But every once in a while something happens that throws me for a loop.  Something will happen that really puts me to the test.  And its usually not something life altering.  Not something major, but serious enough to require an attitude adjustment.

I am a master cake decorator.  Over the last 35 years, this hobby has brought a lot of joy into my life and I hope I have brought happiness and fond memories to all who enjoyed one of my cakes.  I have decorated many, many wedding cakes and have enjoyed making every one of them.  When my children were small, I had a strict rule that they could watch me decorate, but they had to do so at a distance of at least my arm’s length.  If I held my arms out and rotated in a circle, they could not be within the circle.  On my side of the family, there are 26 neices and nephews.  I’ve made wedding cakes for each of them with the exception of one.  And I’ve decorated many more for friends and friends of friends and ,of course, my own kids, grandkids and the children of my neices and nephews.  This weekend, I made a cake for the son of one of my nieces.  It was a beautiful three tiered lavender frosted cake adorned with purple violets.

My husband, Kerm, needs a special medal for putting up with me when he helps deliver a cake.  The delivery is the most difficult part of every wedding cake.  Every bump in the road is painful for me, especially when the weather is hot.  A light, fluffy cake frosted with buttercream icing does not do well travelling down a bumpy road……. and it’s torture for me!  This time we decided to avoid traffic and take less travelled roads.  We avoided the traffic alright, but not the bumpy roads.   Finally we arrived at the wedding site.  I put the finishing touches on the cake, set it on the cake table, and Kerm and I  took our seats to witness the wedding.  We were about half an hour early, so we enjoyed chatting with family as we waited for the cremony.

Just as the ceremony was about to begin, I glanced accross the room at the cake.  It looked like the top layer was sitting at a ‘cock-eyed’ angle.  I blinked my eyes to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.  Sure enough, my granddaughted also looked at the cake and said…..”Grandma, the cake looks weird.”  I quietly rushed over to the cake table, took hold of the glass plate and rushed the cake into the kitchen.  The top layer was crashing into the middle layer and one portion of the bottom layer was falling off.  Yikes! ……..How can this be happening?  I’ve made a gazillion cakes and never had this happen.  I had to grab the top layer leaving my hand print in the icing to keep it from falling further.  My head was spinning……..”How can I recover from this?  The cake is an important part of a wedding.  What can I say to the bride and groom?  How can this be happening?   Can I just disappear?  Take me now, Lord.”  I felt totally responsible for the disaster;  “How can I salvedge this cake?”  I said a silent prayer for help as I continued.

I decided to focus on the top layer because at least it was in one piece.  I removed the top layer and literally spooned the middle layer into a large bowl.  That layer was now just a large bowl of mixed up frosting and crumbled chocolate cake.  I put the bottom layer in the refridgerator.  At least most of it could be served to the guests.

I had to start over with the top layer.  I smoothed the frosting and removed the decorations and borders.  Fortunately I brought extra icing so I could redecorate the top layer.  After about twenty minutes which seemed like an eternity, the top layer was presentable. Now, instead of  a three tiered cake, the happy couple had only a small one layer wedding cake.  So much for freezing the top layer to serve on their one year anniversary.

Everyone was helpful, supportive and sympathetic, but I just could not stop crying.  The groom gave me a hug and told me it was OK.  He and his bride had admired the cake when it was looking beautiful and they did get some pictures.  Just the same I could not stop crying.

Now let’s get back to “There is a reason for everything” and “Everything is a blessing.”  So now what possibly could be the “Reason” and what is the “Blessing”?   I believe the reason is a lesson and that lesson is, in fact, the blessing.  The lesson is that nothing outside of us can make us anything we choose not to be.  Everything is a choice.  Sometimes things happen which we cannot control and it is up to us to decide how we will react.  The important thing for the newlyweds is that they love one another and are ready to begin their lives together.  That’s the cause of the celebraion.  Things like wedding cakes or details about their reception are not as important as their love for one another.

For me the reason was so that I could expreience the love shown to me by all who tried to comfort me.  It reassured me how kind and forgiving people can be.  It was a humbling experience which definitely knocked my ego down a peg or two which apparently I needed.  But I still could not stop crying, I guess it was because I so wanted to give the newlyweds a sweet and beautiful gift.  Instead of my giving a gift, a gift was given to me.  Thank you to all who helped me through that night.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin:  “Always look for the hidden reason and trust there is a blessing in everything that happens.”

What Do You See?

eyesPhysicists tell us we see only about three to four percent of our surroundings.  We see only  matter consisting of molecules.  Under X Rays our bodies look like bones, but with an infared camera our bodies look like clouds of light.   Most of what surrounds us is called ‘dark matter’.  It is called ‘dark matter’ because it is unseen not because it is actually dark.  Dark matter occupies the space between the molecular objects we see with our eyes.  There is a lot going on in the dark matter.

Recent studies of brain activity suggest vast information and memories are stored outside our brain in dark matter.  We have instant access to these memories and stored information.

All of us who have had a pet dog have witnessed the dog sensing the return of his owner minutes before the actual return.  Recent studies analyzing this phenomenon show the instant the dog’s owner ‘thinks‘ he/she is going home, the dog senses this information.  Cameras were focused on both dog and owner.  Each camera displayed a clock to record the exact timeline.  The owner would leave and when the owner thought; “I’m going home”, the dogs ears would pop up and  he would run to the door or window and wait for his owner’s return.  It is hypothesized the thought to go home is instantaneously stored in dark matter and immediately accessed by the pet.

The U.S. Patent Office often receives patent applications for the same invention at the same time from several people in different parts of the country who do not know one another.  How does this happen?  Could the patent information be stored in dark matter and accessed simultaneously by the inventors?

How many times does your phone ring and you instinctively know who is calling?  Or you think of someone and there they are either in person or on the phone?  Hmmmm!  Dark matter?

When you think about it, we know although we cannot see them, our guardian angels are near us……in the dark matter.  And what about family and friends who have passed on.  We cannot see them but we often feel their presence…..in the dark matter.

The earth is banded with meridians of energy we cannot see, but we can feel.  In fact our brains and our hearts are greatly affected by energy forces such as gravity and magnetism which cannot be seen, but can be measured and definitely can be felt.

I love it when science corroberates the spiritual things we have treasured.  Dark matter, indeed.  Someday we will see with eyes that grasp and understand dark matter.  Until then, it’s fun to see science evolve into the spiritual realm.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’: “Dark mater or not, the unseen strongly affects our lives here on earth.  Someday science and things spiritual will be united.”

Inner Peace

PEACEIs there a difference between inner peace and happiness?  I believe there is.  Happinss is subject to current conditions being perceived as positive, while inner peace is a deep stabalizing calm that knows whatever comes my way will eventually be for my good.

There is a perception that if our attitude is always positive and we steadfastly refuse to let negative thoughts enter our mind we can and will attract positive events and situations.  What do you think?  Is this possible?

I remember hearing a story that went something like this;  “As World War II  erupted, all  healthy young men over age eighteen were subjected to the military draft……..That was bad.   A young man on his way to sign up for military service was involved in an accident making him ineligible for military service………that was good.  His injured leg became infected and was eventually amputated……..that was bad.  While being fitted for a prosthesis he met a beautiful nurse who became his wife…….that was good.  Soon after their marriage her wealthy parents were killed in an auto accident…….That was bad.   His wife’s parents left them a sizeable inheritance that allowed them to purchase their dream home nestled on several acres in the mountains.  That was good…….A wild fire swept through and totally destroyed their home and burned all the trees and grasses on their property.  That was bad.  As they surveyed the damage, they crossed a little creek that ran through the far end of their property when they noticed a glint in the creek bed which turned out to be gold……that was good.  The story goes on and on between good and bad.

As you can see, from our vantage point it is impossible to know what events in our lives bring the greater good.  Our mind is constantly judging what ‘is’ as either good or bad.  Inner peace, however, allows us to accept what ‘is’ knowing there are deep lessons contained within every negative event that may not be readily apparent.   In Eckhart Tolle’s book, A New Earth, a story is told of a Zen Master, Hakuin, who lived in a town in Japan; ” Hakuin, the Zen Master was held in high regard and many people came to him for spiritual teaching.  Then it happened that the teenage daughter of his next-door neighbor became pregnant.  When being quesioned by her angry and scolding parents as to the identity of the father, she finally told them that he was the Zen Master.  In great anger the parents rushed over to Hakuin and told him with much shouting and acccusing that their daughter had confessed that he was the father.  All he replied was, “Is that so?”  News of the scandal spread throughout the town and beyond.  The Zen Master lost his reputation.  This did not trouble him.  Nobody came to see him anymore.  He remained unmoved.  When the child was born, the parents brought the baby to Hakuin.  ‘You are the father, so you look after him.’  The Master took loving care of the child.  A year later, the mother remorsefully confessed to her parents that the real father of the child was the young man who worked at the butcher shop.  In great distress they went to see Hakuin to apologize and ask for forgiveness.  “We are really sorry.  We have come to take the baby back.  Our daughter confessed that you are not the father.”  “Is that so?” is all he would say as he handed the baby over to them.”

When we resist what happens we are at the mercy of what happens.  When we accept what ‘is’ without labelling it good or bad we can be at peace.   Remember, we are talking about inner peace.  Circumstances may arrise which do not bring happiness.  For example, if someone you love is dying or has died or is having serious health issures, you cannot be ‘happy’ about it.  But you can be at peace.  Life when seen from a higher perspective is always good.  As we develop inner peace we learn to accept life as it ‘is’.  We do what we can do to eleviate the situation.  There may be sadness and tears but underneath the sadness is a deep serenity, a sacred presence….true inner peace.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “When we develop inner peace we allow an intelligence much greater than the mind to be in charge.  Then what you do is in allignment with a higher consciousness.”

Babies

Lovely-BabyRecently I spent an enjoyale couple of hours participating in a baby shower themed “Mom is about to POP!”  Decorations and food were geared to  things that pop……… balloons, cake pops, pop corn balls, snap-crackle and pop rice crispy treats, blow pops, bubble gum and pop rocks.  This was one of four showers for the new arrival.  When this little baby girl is born, she’ll be the best dressed baby around.  She’ll have plenty of diapers, baby wipes, sox, shoes, onesies, girlie outfits, a car seat, a carrier, lotion, ointments, rattles, teething rings, blankets, towels, and story books.  Her room is decorated and her bassinette is decked with the cutest blanket just waiting for baby’s arrival.  When it comes to material things…..you name it, she’ll have it!  Mom will have the best of care as she goes into a hospital to deliver.  A great OBGYN has monitored her all through the pregnancy to ensure the health of Mom and baby.  This is typical of the way babies are brought into this world in the U.S.

Now, lets contrast this with the birth of a baby in less fortunate regions of the world.   It’s sobering to realize there are places in this world where babies are born in a hut with dirt floors without the assistance of a doctor.  These babies are lucky to have a diaper and a piece of cloth for a bunting.  Yet, amazingly these mothers and babies are very happy.  When I see documentaries about birthing in these destitute countries, it is heart warming to witness the love and joy brought into the lives of these mothers through the birth of their babies.  It becomes very apparent that love and joy come from within and have little to do with outer circumstances.   As these babies grow, they amuse themselves with whatever is around them.  Rocks, sticks, leaves, dirt, water, and maybe a ball are all these kids need to have a great play time as they run, skip, jump, hide, laugh and giggle with their playmates.

Meanwhile, we stresss and worry over the most rediculous things.  We have everything we need, yet we don’t seem to know it.  Has all of our “stuff” become more a burden than a blessing?  Benjamin Franklin had great advice for us:  “Simplify, simplify, simplify.”  The materialistic “rat race” has never brought nor will it ever bring happiness.  Happiness is an inside job.  It is a way of living.  Certainly, it is nice to have these extra things.  Appreciate them, give thanks for them but know they are not prerequisits to happiness.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “Next time you find yourself stressing over your “stuff” or lack of it, remind yourself you have all you need.  Happiness is your birthright.  Smile….be happy.”

Below is a Youtube video of happy children at play with none of the toys we think are so necessary for their enjoyment.

In My Garden

I sat in my garden this morning soaking in the beauty.  It felt surreal,  invigorating and rejuvenating.  There is something undeniably peaceful and loving about immersing yourself fully in a beautiful garden.  I sat on a stone bench listening to the sound of rushing water and song birds.  The blossoms created a koleidoscope of color…..varying shades of red, yellow, white, gold, orange, pink, lavender, burgandy and green.  The sweet scent of lillies filled the air.  My heart was filled with appreciation for such beauty and I felt at peace.

A flower’s purpose is simply to bring love, beauty, fragrance and necter into this world.   I am blessed by simply observing their beauty.  My daily ritual is to walk through the garden enjoying each new blossom.  Once in a while, I’ll sigh as I find an unnoticed faded bloom.  It’s sad when a flower has bloomed and given it’s all yet gone unappreciated.

A garden can be a sacred place to reconnect with God.  One of my very favorite songs is A Walk in The Garden.  It beautifully expresses our connection to God in the exquisite beauty of a garden.  Although it is often sung at funerals, I believe it celebrates the amazing connection between a lovely garden and our eternal essence.  We are reminded that we are children of God, not just in death, but literally His child every day of life:

“I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses.

And the voice I hear, falling on my ear, the son of God discloses.

And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own.

And the joy we share as we tarry there none other has ever known.

He speaks and the sound of His voice is so sweet the birds hush their singing.

And the melody that He gave to me within my heart is ringing.

And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own.

And the joy we share as we tarry there none other has ever known.”

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’;  “We all need a place in nature to reconnect to God.  Make it a priority to find your place of reconnection.  Below is a Youtube audio of Elvis singing In The Garden.  I hope you’ll enjoy it.”

Life is a Treasure Hunt

treasure One of the reasons we are introduced to life in this earthly plane is to make the journey from dependency to independance.  Babies are totally dependant on their parents.  As we grow through early childhood we are reliant on our parents.  Some believe reliance should continue through their entire lifetime.   The truth is we are here to transition from being dependant to a self-reliant, fully independant individual.  But all too often the state of dependency never gets broken.

It is just passed on to a mate or a friend.  We create codependency:  “You need to be there for me,” or “You complete me.”   This codependency leads to a lot of drama especially when we perceive they have done something to us or failed to do something for us.  We have people to blame and become very comfortable in our victimhood as we look for someone to save us from that.  This state of dependency will never lead to a fulfilling life because the power is never in someone else…..the power is always within.

Part of our mission in life is to reclaim our power, to become fully independent  and responsible for our actions.  We are not here to be victims.  We are here to be creators.  The very best relatonships are those intered into by two fully independent individuals who recognize one another’s independence.  In such relationships the participants are free to be who they are knowing they have the love and support of each other.

Life is much like a treasure hunt.  And the treasure is hidden within us.  Until we recognize it, we’ll always look for the treasure outside of ourselves.  As we continue our treasure hunt there comes a moment of awareness when we finally realize the treasure is who we are.  We are all treasure.  Be at peace with who you are.  You are a unique expression of God.  Have faith and confidence in your ability to make choices.  In this society we’ve been trained to believe we need to look to others for validation and direction.  When you reclaim your life after your early years as a child, you make yourself whole.  Trust that you will make decisions which allow for your maximum growth.

It really doesn’t matter which choice you make.  Some people spend a lot of time worrying they will make the wrong choice.  Just remember there is value in every choice you make.  Every choice leads to new choices.  The important thing is that you move.  Don’t worry that one door looks prettier, or more seviere.  Just go through a door.  The worst mistake you can make is to not make a choice.  So, move.  If you are to grow, you must move.  Any choice will take you where you need to go.  Trust that.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “Life’s greatest treasure is YOU.  And since we are one, WE are life’s treasure.  Matthew 6:21,  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

God Bless America

AmericaOn May 11, 1888, one of America’s most beloved and prolific song writers, Israel Baline was born in Tyumen, Russia.  His parents immigrated to America when he was a young boy of five.  As a  Jewish family they came to America to escape religious persecution.  He was taught to love, honor,  and respect the freedoms enjoyed in America.   As a youth he  recalled often hearing his mother enthusiastically exclaim; “God bless America!”

From the time he was a little boy he loved making up songs and lyrics.  Although he was never formally trained to read, write, or play music, he wrote some of the most beloved songs in America.    In an interview he said that he played only the black keys because they were easier to play.  He wrote the lyrics for his first published song, Marie from Sunny Italy in 1907.  His name was misspelled and listed on the sheet music as    ‘I Berlin’.  He liked the spelling and eventually changed his name to Irving Berlin.  Because he was not trained in the “rules” of songwriting, Irving Berlin said he was free to violate them and the result was often an original twist.

Uncle Sam drafted him in 1917 during World War 1 and stationed him on Long Island’s Camp Upton.  He was more than willing to do anything to help the cause, but was not prepared for 5:00 am reveille, so he wrote the song Oh, How I Hate to Get Up in The Morning!:

“Oh, how I hate to get up in the morning, Oh, how I’d love to remain in bed.

For the hardest blow of all is to hear the bugler call.

You’ve got to get up!  You’ve got to get up!  You’ve got to get up this morning!”

Upon hearing the song, camp officers felt they could put his talents to better use.  In exchange for working late and sleeping late, he was asked to write the music for an all male musical comedy entitled Yip, Yip, YaphankThe musical finale was a song with a very patriotic message.  After a couple of performances, he pulled the song because it just didn’t fit as a proper ending for a musical comedy.  The song was tucked away for about twenty years.

In 1938, Kate Smith was at the height of her career.  Kate was very patriotic and wanted to find a special song to raise the  American spirit with the looming threat of Hitler on the European forefront.  She called her old friend, Irving Berlin, to see if he could help.  He told her he had written a song twenty years earlier, but had not used it or had it published, but she was welcome to use it.  He revised a couple of lines of the lyrics and gave it to Kate to perform.  Kate absolutely fell in love with the song and on Armistice Day, 1938, she sang the song for the first time on her radio show.  She sang the song with such spirit and emotion it was an instant hit….the American public loved it!  And to this day it is still one of America’s most beloved songs…….God Bless America.

We don’t often hear the prelude to the song;  “While storm clouds gather across the sea, Let us swear allegiance to a land that’s free.  Let us be grateful for a land so fair,  As we raise our voices in solemn prayer….”

“God bless America, land that I love,

Stand beside her and guide her through the night with the light from above.

From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam,

God bless America, My home sweet home!”

Because the song meant so much to Americans and went straight to their hearts, neither Irving Berlin nor Kate Smith capitalized on the song.  Irving Berlin donated in perpetuity all royalties to the Boy Scouts of America.  Kate Smith did the same for the Girls Scouts of America.

This Is the Army [Original Broadway Cast]

Out of more than a thousand songs, a short list would include “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” (his first major hit, in 1911), “God Bless America,” “A Pretty Girl Is like a Melody,” “Always,” “Blues Skies,” “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “How Deep Is the Ocean?,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “Let’s Face the Music and Dance,” “White Christmas,” “There’s No Business like Show Business,” “I Love a Piano,” “What’ll I Do?” “Easter Parade,” and “Oh, How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning.” The last came from one of the two shows Berlin organized and performed in during the two world wars (he can be seen in the film version of the second one, This Is the Army).

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “Thank God for Irving Berlin.  The world is a better place because of his music.”

The Human Genome Project

In 1990, The Human Genome Project (HGP)  one of the most ambitious projects ever launched by the  National Institutes of Health, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, was begun.  It was heralded as an altruistic project with three main objectives:

1.  To identify the genetic basis of all human traits.

2.  To create a database and tools for data analysis to be shared with biotechnical industries.

3.  To foster the development of new medical applications.

A genome is identified to be the total amount of genetic informaton in the chromosomes of a living thing including genes and DNA.  At that time it was assumed more complex  organisms contain greater numbers of genes within.  With over 100,000 proteins in the human body and with a gene blueprint needed to make each protein, it was thought a human genome must have at least 100,000 genes.  The project was under the guidance of James Watson who in 1953 discovered the structure of DNA.

An ulterior motive of HGP (Human Genome Project) was the belief that through patenting the nucleotide base sequence for each gene, and selling the information to pharmaceutical and bioengineering research companies, fortunes could be made.  They  believed the data could be used to engineer a human utopia.  Venture capitalists invested millions in the HGP expecting to make fortunes based two misassumptions…..first,  that genes control an organism’s traits and second, that complex organisms would possess the greatest number of genes.

As a precursor to the project, scientists sequenced the genes of simple organisms that have been traditionally employed in genetic research.  Bacteria were found to contain 3,000 to 5,000 genes.  The tiny round worm with only 1,271 cells has about 23,000 genes.  The more evolved fruit fly surprisingly has only 18,000 genes.  This finding didn’t appear to make sense, but the determined scientists proceeded with the HGP undaunted.

The HGP results were released in 2003, two years earlier than expected.  The project did not turn out as anticipated.  It just didn’t generate the kind of information the scientists had imagined.    As it turned out, the biologically complex (50 trillion cells) human body has only approximately 23,000 genes almost the same number of genes as the tiny little round worm.  Although the HGP has been heralded as one of humanity’s great accomplishments, the failure to fnd the anticipated 100,000 plus genes in a human genome led to the downsizing of the bioengineering companies it spawned and the resignation of many of their CEOs.  In addition, Epigenetics immerged disproving genetic determinism.

Our schools, health systems and doctors are slow to recognize Epigenetics.  And we still hear or read news reports about genetic determinism.  We cannot help but wonder why good news travells so slowly.  Below is a chart showing the Components of the Human Genome as determined by the HGP.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “You, your thoughts, your beliefs, and your moods control the expression of your genes.  Those who expect good health generally have good health.”

Science is Evolving

One of the most interesting of the new “energy sciences” is epigenetics, developed by the renowned cellular biologist, Bruce H. Lipton.DNA Strand

Epigenetics has proved that DNA by itself, if inactivated, is no more than unrealized potential.  It does not and cannot orchestrate the unfolding of a biological organism.  Epigenetics further discovered that expression of genes is controlled, to a large extent by the energetic choices we make such as thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and decisions – mere “soft” concepts in the eyes of mainstream science.

Dawson Church in The Genie in Your Genes, helps clarify the findings of Bruce H Lipton.  He points out that genes can be compared to individual musicians and their instruments in a symphony orchestra.  The instruments remain un-plucked and un-strummed until the introduction of intellegent energy.  That intellegent energy is the conductor.  The conductor tells the various musicians when to play their instruments and when to remain silent.   The conductor calls the tune.   Without the conductor there would be no music, just chaotic sound or silence.

When it comes to your genes, the ‘conductor’ is crucial.  And that conductor is YOU – your consciousness, your emotions and the energy you call upon in your life.  It turns out that you can control the expression of your genes by the way you live and the choices you make.  Beliefs, spiritual practices, attitudes, intentions and the moods you choose to cultivate all have a demonstratable effect on the expression of your ‘hard’ genetic code.  The energy of love and nurturance literally unlock different genes and create different kinds of organizsms than do the energies of fear and neglect.  It is no longer scientifically correct to say, “It’s all in the DNA.”   Yes, it is in the DNA, but even more so it is in the way genes are selectively expressed (or suppressed)  through the “soft” energetic choices we make.  We, ourselves,  run the show.

Psychology is finally responding to the human energy movement.  Energy Psychology recognizes that we are first and foremost energetic beings and while traditional therapy can be beneficial, it is the disruptions in  our energy fields that are immediately responsible for negative emotions we experience.  The best results in eleviating emotional stress and trauma are achieved when EFT (tapping) is combined with traditional talk therapy.

Tapping or EFT (Emotional Feedom Technique) is now being widely used by energy psychologists to treat energy patterns directly.  Phobias and self-destructive thinking paterns often permanently disapear after one or a few treatment sessions.  Practitioners are able to achieve remarkable results reducing the effects of stress and trauma for people who have been through incredible traumatic situations.  Tapping has been introduced to those experiencing trauma from Newtown, Connecticut and survivors of the Rowandan genocide with great success.

EFT (Emotional Freedome Technique) or tapping are self-administered techniques that can be done either alone or under the supervision of a trained meridian tapping therapist to relieve negative emotional patterns.  The premise of tapping is that “All negative emotions are a result of a disruption in the body’s energy system.

The primary tapping points are located on the side of the hand, the inner eyebrow, the outer-eye, under the eye, under the nose, under the mouth, the colarbone and under the arm and at the very top of the head.  There are some great books about tapping.  I recommend Discover the Power of Meridian Tapping, by Patricia Carrington, Ph.D.

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “The new energy science is exciting.  I love it when science proves what we have all known in our hearts.”

We are Living at the Dawn of an Exciting New Age

loveDecember 21, 2012, marked the end of a world age and the beginning of another.  We are now in the Age of Aquarius, the dawn of the Golden Age of Love.  Having said that, many wonder how we could be intering an age of love when the world is in such a chaotic state.

Terrorism, government scandalls, nuclear threats, monetary disasters, genetically modified foods, corporate greed, fires, catastropic weather, and the lack of common sense in ‘political correctness’, are but a few of the news reports we hear daily.  We ask ourselves…..what is the solution?  The chaos cannot continue without desroying the planet.  We all have a sense of that.  But what needs to happen to bring the human race to back its senses?  Back to the realization of our divine nature and understanding we are one?   We will survive only when love takes control.

Right now I believe most people at least in the United States want to return to our divine nature of love, but how can one group or nation do that and not be destroyed by other groups who are not ready for love?  The ancients have warned us that these times would come.

We were born  at this time because we believed we could make a difference.  At some point in the not too distant future God will provde a way for this planet and for all who choose love to be brought into the new age where fully conscious beings will reside in love.

Some will not be ready and will not be able to survive in this new age.  That does not mean they will be shut off from God’s love or they will have no future.  God loves ALL, but  some have not become conscious enough to participate in the new age of love on planet Earth.  Those souls will continue to grow and gain expeience but in a different dimension.  The ‘evil’ committed in this world is the result of gross ignorance.  Life always provides consequences reflecting the ignorant uncounsious state of the ‘evil’ ones.  And because they do what they do out of ignorance, they are innocent.  When we know better, we do better.  We are admonished to rid ourselves of judgement.

The coming events  may be difficult, but will be made bearable through love.  So, keep your faith.  Don’t be disheartened by the news reports.  Make a decison to be a peace-maker.   Do what you can to help others when the opportunity presents itself.  Focus on those around you and make your home a haven.  Know that God’s love will prevail .

For now, Earlynn’s just sayin’:  “Love is and always has been the answer.”
