What’s up with 12-21-2012?

There’s a lot of speculation about the date 12-21-2012, especially since it is the ending date of the Mayan calendar.  But what do we actually know about the date.  Other than being the ending date of the Mayan Calendar, is anything else known about this date?  As it turns out, science has a lot to say about 12-21-2012.

Science tells us there is  a black hole in the center of the Milky Way.  This black hole has a very powerful energy field that directly affects life on earth.  Our solar system travels around this core with earth on the fringe of the Milky Way.   The Milky Way is so symmetrical that a line can be drawn through the center representing a galactic equator.  Scienctists now know that life on earth is affected by our rotation through the universe.  This rotation is not circular but is an ellipse.  Earth is affected by the gravatational pull of both the sun and the moon.  The sun’s magnetic field pulls in one direction while the moon’s gravity pulls the earth in an opposite direction.  This tug and pull causes the earth to wobble in its rotation.  One wobble and one complete rotation of the earth through the galaxy takes about 25,625 years.  On the date of 12-21-2012 the earth’s equator and the galactic equator will be in perfect allignment.  This allignment gives earth direct access to the powerful energy emitted from the black hole for a small window of time.  Next to the galactic black hole is a star that is 100 times brighter than the sun making it the brightest star in the Milky Way.  On 12-21-2012 earth will be at the greatest distance from that light.

Ancient traditions divide the earth’s 25,625 year orbit through the  12 constellations of the zodiac into five World Ages lasting 5,125 years each.  This is called the procession of the equinoxes.  What is significant is the end of the  one complete rotation through the universe of 25,625 years and the end of the fifth 5,125 world age happen simultaneously on the date of 12-21-2012.

Most of our problems with global warming, the weakening magnetic field, shifts in climate causing violent weather patterns, earth quakes and raging fires in multiplke locations around the globe are because of the position of earth in its rotation.  Scientists  have studied sea sediment and drilled actic ice cores, studied sea levels and the affects of our sun’s radiant energy.  They have determined that the earth’s magnetic field and global warming are about where they were at the end of the last 25,625 year rotation.

We as human beings are being gretly affected by earth’s position in the universe.  In the past 25 years there are thirty new deseases without medical cures.  The use of prescription drugs has multiplied ten times.  Some areas of the world are experiencing food shortages.  Conflicts in our world are less about borders and more about conflicting ideas.   Human extremes and personal extremes are being brought to the forefront.

The good news is these changes will not take eons of time to resolve.  We entered into this cycle in about 1980 so we have experienced many of these changes already.  It is believed things will stabalize by the year 2016.

We are at the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.  Our ancient ancestors who lived through the end of the last world age did their best to leave us information to help us navagate through these times.  They spoke of the end of time and the shift of the ages.  They told us we need to work together, that we are one.  The answers to our survival depend on our ability to work together.  Our world is not ending, but it is changing.   As we step up to our responsibilities to nuture and care for one another and our earth we will find the answers necessary to adjust and bring our world into a new age of peace.  I believe love is and always will be the answer.  Love for our earth and love for one another is the secret to our survival.
