The spiritual law of sowing and reaping states that we will always reap what we have sown. If we plant peas in our garden and we keep it watered and weeded we will reap a harvest of peas. We all understand the law as it pertains to our gardens, but we sometimes loose sight of the law as it pertains to our personal life. Another closely reated spiritual law states whatever we want we must first give to another.
Take a moment – look at your personal life. Are there areas of lack? If so, identify those areas. Ask “What seeds am I sowing”? Many times we are like a man sitting before the fireplace shivering. Before he can get heat from the fireplace, he must first light the fire. If you really want something give it to another, light the fire.
If you want respect – give it to others. If you want abundance – be generous with others. If you want others to listen to you – listen to them. If you pay little attention to the needs of others the universe will pay little attention to your needs. If you want success welcome it wherever you see it, especially your friends. Be sincere and lavish in your praise of others’ success and you plant seeds for your own success.
Whenever you feel lack in your life, remember the law of sowing and reaping. Giving to others will plant the seeds for your own abundance.
